iButterfly Privacy Policy
BIGBANG, Incorporated ("we") describes below how information is handled in the mobile application "iButterfly" (the "App").
1. Information we collect
1-1. Only if you create an account
You can use every feature of the App without creating an account. An account is optional and exists only so your data can be restored after you change devices or reinstall the App.

Passwords are stored in an irreversible (hashed) form; nobody, including us, can read them.
1-2. Generated and stored by the App

| Save data | Your collection of butterflies, level, experience points, items, and purchased features. Stored on our servers only if you created an account. |
| Coarse location | As the starting point of an "Expedition", the save data contains only a location rounded to roughly an 11 km grid. Your exact location is never stored. |
1-3. Collected by a third party for advertising
The App uses Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect the following while you use the App:
- Device ID
- Advertising data and product interaction (such as which ads were shown or watched)
- Coarse location
- Crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data

2. What we do not collect or transmit

3. Purposes
- To save your progress and restore it after a device change or reinstall
- To provide features between players, such as butterfly trading
- To display advertising (served by a third party)
- To find bugs, improve quality, and understand usage in aggregate
4. Tracking
The App serves non-personalized ads only and does not track you across other apps or websites. For this reason the App never asks for permission to use the device advertising identifier (IDFA).
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or share collected information with third parties except as required by law. To provide the App's features, information may be sent to the following services:

6. Retention and deletion
- Without an account, your save data stays only on your device and is lost if you delete the App.
- With an account, your save data is stored on our servers.
- You can delete your account from inside the App. Choose "Setting" → "Account" → "Delete account" to permanently erase your email address and save data from our servers. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
- If you stop using the App without deleting your account, your data is retained until you ask us to delete it.
7. Security
All communication is encrypted (HTTPS). Server access is limited to the staff who need it.
8. International transfers
For advertising and map delivery, information may be processed on servers outside Japan.
9. Children's privacy
The App is intended for all ages and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child's information has been registered, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
Any change takes effect when posted on this page. We will notify you in the App if the change is significant.
